5 The PDA-OTA (over-the-air) platform

[This section is for general users]

A video introducing the PDA-OTA platform [https://pda-ota.pdamethods.org/] To facilitate a secure and seamless collaboration between data sites, we developed an online platform names PDA-OTA. This platform allows users to setup personal profile, initialize a new project/join an existing project, work with colleagues within their own site or from other sites to contribute AD, monitor project progress, and share final report. To date (Sep 02, 2025), the OTA platform has 69 registered users.

Table X. Step-by-step action items for the lead site and Collaborating sites to conduct the federated learning analysis using the PDA-OTA platform.

We present a demo example of conducting a federated learning analysis using the DLMM model and the PDA-OTA platform. We use a simulated data of the COVID LOS study (see Section 3.1.1 Application example #2), assuming 4 sites at the MedicalCenter, Kearney, Omaha and Lincoln. The MedicalCenter is the lead site.
